It’s happening.
After months (or maybe years) of dreaming, doubting, planning, and unplanning — the first step of this new chapter is finally here. My international journey begins… in Guatemala.
It wasn’t my first plan. Life, as it often does, had other ideas. And yet, as these moments tend to do, the detour led me exactly where I needed to be.
Guatemala called to me quietly. Not in grand gestures or flashing signs, but in that subtle, knowing way the universe tends to whisper when you finally start listening. It’s a place where I can immerse myself in language, culture, and rhythm — where I can learn, and unlearn, all at once.
I’ll be spending the first stretch of this journey enrolled in language school, grounding myself in Spanish while soaking in a culture that values connection and community over speed and excess. It feels like the perfect place to start — a reminder that new beginnings don’t always announce themselves loudly. Sometimes, they hum softly beneath the surface until you realize you’re already in motion.
I don’t know exactly what’s ahead — and that’s the point. For the first time in a long time, I’m not trying to map it all out. I’m simply saying yes to what’s next.
